Farmhouse (QV994 ) (5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms)
Our country farmhouse is on 8 acres with two picturesque red barns on the property. There are five bedrooms, four of which have King beds and the fifth is an incredible room for children with four twin beds. It is the perfect location for a family gathering -- for touring New England, playing golf or tennis at the Quechee Club (100 yards away), skiing at our small Quechee ski hill or at Killington or Okeemo ski hill (35 minutes away). With our sport court (basketball, shuffle board, paddle tennis, badminton) next to our garage, and rec room with pool table, air hockey and table tennis, there is plenty to keep you busy -- without even leaving the house.
Picture yourself having your morning coffee on the front covered wrap-around deck, reading the local newspaper or just listening to the sounds of Vermont's nature. You'll be watching the bird's land on our pond, or the Hot Air Balloons rise over the nearby river with the majestic Vermont mountains in the background. This is especially beautiful during our Fall Foliage season.
Whatever time of year you decide to visit Vermont, you will enjoy Quechee’s spectacular views, convenience to recreational activities, and a comfortable feeling of luxury and seclusion. While offering the best of Vermont vacations, Quechee is convenient to Boston, New York and Albany, cultural and entertainment events and nearby world-class health care (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center).
The Quechee Club boasts two championship golf courses (Highland and Lakeland), which in the winter are groomed for Nordic cross-country skiing trails. Quechee also offers tennis, paddle tennis, skiing and an array of activities and venues for swimmers, hikers and fisherman. The Club House has multiple dining options, a state of the art fitness facility, and both indoor and outdoor pools. Optional packages to access the Quechee Club’s amenities are available upon request.
Quechee is centrally located between the beautiful towns of Woodstock, Vermont and Hanover, New Hampshire, the home of Dartmouth College. Hanover, New Hampshire and Woodstock, Vermont combine the quaintness of beautiful New England villages with the cultural sophistication. Galleries, unique shops, museums and a variety of excellent and unique dining experiences are available in both towns.
