Kingswood Lodge (KW2E)

Description

Description

Slope-side designer lodge!  With its spacious main level and large deck overlooking the woods, this elegantly appointed country retreat boasts an eclectic array of fine furnishings and first class appointments.  High end designer linens and down stuffed sofas flanking the hearth ensure a memorable vacation experience.  Plus, the elegantly furnished deck with four burner gas grill and commercial outdoor heater mean that you can enjoy those crisp fall evenings outdoors in total comfort. During winter months, a four-minute walk to end of the lane puts you directly on the Quechee ski hill’s exciting ski on/ski off accessible Stagecoach trail. The upstairs is equipped with a full bath and two bedrooms, one with a unique daybed and “secret” twin trundle, and one queen sized bedroom down the hall. This is truly a standout property for those who appreciate elegant surroundings and space for the whole family. With rental of this home you are able to purchase access to the Quechee Club and its amenities. Please contact the Quechee Club directly for rates.

You also have access to the Quechee Club dining facilities and other activities and amenities on a fee basis. Quechee has so much to offer 12 months of the year, including downhill skiing, Nordic cross country, snowshoeing, paddle tennis, sleigh riding and ice skating in the winter and golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, fishing and boating the rest of the year! State of the art fitness facility is open all year round. Dining is top notch from Simon Pearce to the Quechee Club and Quechee Inn, as well as many casual, family restaurants!

Quechee is convenient from all areas of the Northeast and is centrally located between the beautiful towns of Woodstock, Vermont and Hanover, New Hampshire, home of Dartmouth College.  Hanover and Woodstock combine the quaintness of beautiful New England villages with cultural sophistication.   Galleries, unique shops, museums and a variety of excellent and unique dining experiences are available in both towns. Killington, Pico, Okemo and Suicide Six ski mountains are all approximately 15-45 minutes from Quechee and most offer first-class skiing, mountain biking and other year round activities. At the end of a fun-filled day, curl up in front of the wood-burning fireplace with a good book and let your cares melt away.
